Paseo


Today's WOTD is: "paseo" = walk

In Spanish, the noun "paseo" is a masculine noun of Latin origin which means a walk. The noun “paseo” is also used in Spanish to refer to:
  • A public place commonly used to go for a walk/ stroll;
  • A type of street/ avenue (usually with facillities for a walk/ a stroll);

A related action word/ verb is “pasear” which may be used to mean to walk/ to go for a walk/ a stroll/ a ride.
