Árbol

In Spanish, “árbol” is a masculine noun of Latin origin, which means tree. The noun “arbol” may be also used:
  • In shipping to refer to a mast in a sailing ship;
  • In mechanics to refer to a type of shaft;


A few commonly used expressions with the word “árbol” are:
  • Arbol arrancado (uprooted tree);
  • Arbol autóctono (native tree);
  • Arbol catalogado como singular (tree listed as unique);
