Azada


Today's WOTD is: "azada" = hoe

In Spanish, “azada” is a feminine noun of Latin origin, which means hoe. The addition of the suffix -on to “azada” results in the noun “azadón”, which is often used to refer to a mattock.


A related Spanish noun is “motoazada” which is often used to refer to a motocultivator.
